Wedding Terms & Conditions

1 Reservation of Wedding Date
1.1 A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the confirmed will be required to book Wild Rose services.
1.2 The deposit is non-refundable, even if the date is changed, the wedding cancelled for any reason, or the client decides to engage an alternate supplier. It is applied toward the contracted wedding flowers and is deducted from the final balance.

2 Consultations
2.1 Couples will be invoiced for a £50 booking fee prior to receiving their initial quote and Pinterest mood board. This is to cover time and resources spent preparing information. The £50 booking fee will be deducted from the final balance should the couple decide to choose Wild Rose as their florist.
2.2 Couples are welcome to book subsequent phone/Skype/face-to-face meetings in the lead up to the wedding date at no extra charge. It is recommended to have a conclusive face-to-face meeting to finalise details and important information, ideally 1-2 months before the wedding date.

3 Wild Rose Products & Services
3.1 All Wild Rose products are subject to availability. We pride ourselves on bringing your floral dream to life, however, due to unexpected circumstances out of our control, such as extreme weather or supply failure, we reserve the right to substitute previously agreed ingredients or components within a design of equivalent quality without notice. Please note: flowers and plant material are natural products, so colours may differ/be unavailable to those agreed, but we will always make every effort to source products accordingly.
3.2 In the event that we are unable to supply products, service or any substitute product or service to you at all, we shall notify you as soon as is reasonably possible and shall reimburse as necessary.

4 Hired items
All hired items are subject to a £200 deposit charge. The client is fully responsible for all damaged or missing items and the cost of all such items will be deducted from the deposit charge at full retail value. The deposit charge will be returned in full on safe collection of all Wild Rose property.

OR

Wild Rose has full ownership of all hired items, which must be collected/returned in full working order and in the exact state as they were delivered. The client must not take home or gift said hired items unless agreed prior to the wedding date. The client owns and is encouraged to take home all floral pieces (without hired items) unless agreed prior to the wedding date. Wild Rose reserves the right to charge the client for any damaged, broken and/or missing hired items at full retail price.

5 Payment
5.1 The final balance must be paid in full (minus 20% deposit and £50 booking fee) no less than 2 weeks before the wedding date.
5.2 Wild Rose reserves the right to cancel any wedding flowers if payment is not made by then. We are not obliged to offer any compensation for inconvenience caused.

6 Delivery
Whilst we endeavour to deliver your wedding flowers for pre-arranged time slots, unfortunately the unexpected can happen. Wild Rose cannot be held responsible for unexpected events that may occur which are beyond our control. We will endeavour to supply alternative arrangements should this occur. In this event refunds will be at our discretion. If for any reason we are not able to meet the delivery or set up time, the client will be notified as soon as feasibly possible.

7 Event Set Up
7.1 Rachael will personally deliver and set up your flowers unless otherwise agreed. For large events trusted assistants are brought in to ensure smooth and timely set up.
7.2 Wild Rose accepts no responsibility for any damage caused by open flames, lit candles or arrangements containing water at an event once we have left the wedding set up. Whilst Wild Rose provide candles and candle vessels, it is usually a wedding party member or venue staff that light them and we will therefore not be held accountable for any damaged caused.
7.3 Wild Rose accepts no responsibility for failure to collect, wear or use any arrangements for specific use by the bridal party ie buttonholes or bouquets, once they have been left by our team at the relevant – and pre-agreed – venue. Any oversight to correctly collect and, for example, pin on buttonholes on behalf of the wedding party as a whole, or by an individual, remains the responsibility of said wedding party and/or individual.
7.4 The client owns and is encouraged to take home all floral pieces (without hired items) unless agreed prior to the event. Wild Rose accepts no responsibility to remove floral pieces after the event unless said pieces contain Wild Rose property. All floral pieces; e.g. bouquets/pedestal arrangements, must be removed by the client unless agreed otherwise with Wild Rose prior to the wedding date.

8 Cancellation
8.1 Cancellation of Wild Rose products or services must be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
8.2 The deposit will be retained regardless of the circumstances of the cancellation.
8.3 Cancellation 8 weeks prior to the wedding date will incur a charge of 25% of the total amount.
8.4 Full payment will be required for cancellations made 6 weeks before the wedding day.
8.5 We must receive full payment no later than 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. If you cancel your event within this time, after we have received payment from you, we will be unable to offer a refund, and will retain the full amount.
8.6 Charges are applied at our discretion pending cancellation circumstances.
8.7 No charges will be applied should the wedding be changed to a different date and all products are still required – subject to date availability.

9 Complaints
9.1 Should the client have any issues with the quality or standard of the flowers/displays, the client must notify the florist on the day of receipt. Wild Rose reserves the right to rectify any errors on the day without prejudice. Any complaints regarding the quality, shape, size, quantity etc cannot be accepted after the day of the event.
9.2 Due to the perishable nature of our products, the client will be advised upon delivery how to store/care for your product and we ask that you fulfil this. Usually, the instruction will be to keep the product in a cool place, away from a draft, heat or strong fumes and, if a bridal bouquet, in it’s bucket of water until ready to use.
9.3 Due to the perishable nature of our products, Wild Rose cannot be held responsible for the damage caused by extreme heat or strong winds during adverse weather. Every precaution will be taken to ensure the safety of the flowers and arrangement, but we cannot guarantee or take responsibility for the longevity of the product after set up is complete and we have left the premises.

10 Ill health or adverse weather conditions
10.1 Whilst we agree to use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Wild Rose service is full operational and error-free, we cannot guarantee this. Sudden ill health and adverse weather conditions may affect our ability to deliver any product or service.
10.2 In cases of adverse weather we will remain in contact with the client in the lead up to the event.
10.3 In cases of sudden ill health where Rachael is unable to personally complete or deliver your event, this will be completed by a member of our experienced team or outsources accordingly.
10.4 We cannot accept responsibility for sudden ill health or adverse weather conditions and if we are prevented from providing any service or product as agreed, we can only offer a full refund.

11 General
11.1 We reserve the right to supplement and amend the Terms and Conditions of Wild Rose products and services as needed. We will inform the client of any changes to the Terms and Conditions.
11.2 If you do not sign and return a copy of the Terms and Conditions as listed herewith; by the act of paying a deposit you are proceeding with the booking and entering into a contract and therefore agree to these Terms and Conditions.
11.3 Additionally, we reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate Wild Rose products or services for any reason at any time.
